The mission of the Los Santos Police Department is to protect life and property, maintain public order, and reduce crime through professional law enforcement, proactive policing, and community partnership. Requirements
To join the Los Santos Police Department, you must meet the following criteria:
- Age Limit: Be at least 15 years of age.
- Communication: Possess a working microphone and be able to communicate clearly in English.
- Attitude: Have a mature, professional attitude and demonstrate good roleplay standards.
- Server Standing: Maintain no active bans or serious disciplinary history within the community.
- Training: Be willing to complete the LSPD Academy and probationary training.
- Activity: Be able to attend scheduled trainings, patrols, and community events.
- Teamwork: Work effectively as part of a team and show respect toward fellow members and the public.
- Interest: Have a genuine interest in law enforcement, public safety, and community policing.

1Chief of PoliceRuns the department. Has the final say on rosters, rules, and who gets banned or kicked.

2Assistant Chief of PoliceSecond-in-command. Runs things when the Chief is offline and helps manage the paperwork.

3Deputy Chief of PoliceWorks with the Chief and Assistant Chief to run the department and keep everyone in line with the rules.

4CommanderHelps organize department operations and assists with member management.

5CaptainManages the roster, keeps track of active members, and handles initial member issues or complaints.

6LieutenantRuns active patrol shifts, organizes units when people log on, and takes charge when a big scene pops off.

7Sergeant IIIAn experienced supervisor who helps manage shifts during busy hours.

8Sergeant IIYour main active supervisor on the streets. They answer supervisor calls and make sure people aren't messing around.

9Sergeant IA new supervisor learning how to run shifts and help out members.

10Corporal IIA Supervisor in Training. They help the Sergeants keep patrol organized and learn how to manage scenes before moving up.

11Corporal IAn entry-level Supervisor in Training. They assist on scenes, guide newer guys, and start learning basic supervisor duties.

12Senior Lead OfficerAn experienced member who has been in the department for a long time and knows how to run smooth patrols.

14Police Officer IIIAn experienced officer who is certified as an FTO to train the new guys.

15Police Officer IIYour standard cop. Cleared to ride solo, knows how to roleplay properly, and handles everyday calls.

16Police Officer IJust got cleared to ride solo but still gaining experience on the streets.

17Probationary Police OfficerFresh out of the academy. Rides along with an FTO to get trained before going solo.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How long does it take for my application to get reviewed?
Applications are usually checked within 24 to 48 hours. Keep an eye on the Discord for a ping or DM from the training staff.
- What happens if my application is denied?
If you get denied, we’ll let you know why. You're usually welcome to fix the issues and try again after a couple of days.
- Can I still join if I have a criminal record in-character?
Yes, minor traffic offenses or older charges are fine. Just be honest about it on your application.
- Do I have to buy my own police car or gear?
No, everything you need for patrol is provided in the server's armory and garage based on your rank.
